Hi! Our class just started tackling a new chapter in math about use the formula to determine the probability to four decimal places of the given event. and I did pretty good for most homeworks we had but the latest one my teacher gave really complex so I'd appreciate if somebody would assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my math professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried answering it but to no avail . I just can’t answer it with ease unlike the other assignments. I had no trouble solving my past homeworks but this particular assignment with specific topic of subtracting fractions just gives me a hard time just discovering how to start . I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if someone help me in showing the steps and how to solve it in a organized and clear way.

What exactly don't you understand about use the formula to determine the probability to four decimal places of the given event.? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Algebra 1, so I might be able to give you some ideas on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should get Algebrator, that's what I did in my Basic Math, and I have to say it's the greatest ! It's less costly than a private teacher and you can count on it anytime you want . It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever used a similar program. I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

I agree. Stress will lead you no where. Algebrator is a very handy tool. You don’t need to be a computer expert in order to operate it. Its easy to use, and it works great.

It’s amazing that a software can do that. I didn’t expect something like that could really help in math . I’m used to be taught by a teacher but this really sounds promising . Do you have any links for this software ?

Go to https://pocketmath.net/adding-and-subtracting-mixed-fractions.html. You will find that it has quite a few cool things to offer.

I remember having often faced difficulties with dividing fractions, trinomials and mixed numbers. A truly great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Basic Math, College Algebra and Algebra 1. I greatly recommend the program.
