I am in desperate need of help in completing a homework in algebra1 formula. I need to submit it by next week and am having a hard time trying to work out a few tricky problems. I tried some of the online help sites but have not gotten much help so far. I would be really grateful if anyone can guide me.

Algebrator is a easy to use product and is certainly worth a try. You will find several exciting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math more enjoyable.
