Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora algebra tutor , because I've been having a lot of stress due to algebra homework this year. each time when I come home from school I waste all my time with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain whether a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's so expensive , and who knows, maybe it's not even so helpful. Does anyone know anything about algebraic expressions 1st grade lesson that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding reducing fractions, graphing or conversion of units? Any suggestions will be much appreciated . |

I have been in your place some time agowhen I was learning algebraic expressions 1st grade lesson. What part of mixed numbers and lcf poses more difficulties? Because I think that what you really need is a good program to help you figure out the basic concepts and ways of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a program like that? I have tried many but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to think , it doesn't just give you the answers . |

Thanks for the detailed instructions, this sounds great . I wanted something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it without any help , not just copy the results. Where can I find the software? |

I remember having problems with quadratic formula, relations and sum of cubes. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
